Dr. Jake Hemingway is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Vascular Surgery at the University of Washington, where he is primarily based at the University of Washington - Northwest Hospital. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, he has attended the University of Washington for the entirety of his training. After completing medical school, he stayed in Seattle for his integrated vascular surgery residency at the University of Washington. Dr. Hemingway has a special interest in acute aortic pathology, vascular trauma, limb salvage, and complex venous disease. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Hemingway enjoys spending time with his family while skiing, windsurfing, hiking, or biking.
