Dr. Han holds the title of Professor of Clinical Surgery and Neurological Surgery in the Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy, Keck School of Medicine of USC. He serves as the Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy and Program Director for the Independent and Integrated Vascular Surgery Fellowship and Residency, Co-director of Comprehensive Aortic Center.
Dr. Han obtained his M.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. He completed general surgery training at University of Southern California. During residency, he also obtained a master's degree in biomedical engineering at the Viterbi School of Engineering at USC. Dr. Han went on to complete vascular surgery fellowship training at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Han completed additional dedicated fellowship training in complex aortic repairs at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Since joining USC as faculty in 2014, Dr. Han has been instrumental in advancing the Aortic Care at Keck Medical Center of USC. Dr. Han maintains a busy clinical practice focused on aortic pathologies. He is a physician sponsor and principal investigator of physician-sponsored investigational device exemption (PS-IDE) protocol for physician-modified endografting, and participates in numerous cutting edge complex aortic device trials.
