Dr Dejah Judelson is an Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the UMass Chan School of Medicine in Worcester, MA. The daughter of an MIT trained engineer turned cardiologist and chemist, she followed in her parents’ footsteps to study chemical engineering and biology at MIT. She went on to complete medical school at The Pennsylvania State College of Medicine and then completed her 5-year vascular surgery residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She was enticed by the opportunity to stay at UMass and continue to work in a Heart and Vascular Center of Excellence. Now the Medical Director of AV Access and the Medical Director of the Center of Vein Disease, her focus is on elevating patient care in the outpatient setting while educating vascular trainees.
