Sara L. Zettervall MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor of Surgery and the Assistant Program Director at the University of Washington School of Medicine. She completed her general surgery training at George Washington University in Washington, DC followed by fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. In addition, Dr. Zettervall completed a 2-year research fellowship at Harvard as part of the National Institute of Health Harvard-Longwood T32 Program. Dr. Zettervall is a co-investigator on an IDE for physician-modified endografts in the treatment of juxtarenal aneurysms and a physician-sponsored IDE for the treatment of thoracoabdominal aneurysms using custom branched and fenestrated devices. Her current research focuses on the use of evolving technology for the treatment of aortic disease.
